SPRING ONIONS & PORK

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 bunch Spring onions

100g Pork meat sliced

2 cloves Garlic finely chopped

1 Pork stock cube

1 pinch MSG (optional)

Salt to taste

2 tbsp Cooking oil

 

Sauce mixture

2 tsp Corn flour

1 1/2 cups Water

1 tsp Soya sauce

1 tsp Sugar

1 tsp Oyster sauce

2 cm Ginger minced

1 cap Shao xing wine

 

Marinade

1 tsp Soya sauce

1/2 tsp Sugar

1/2 tsp Corn flour

METHOD

 

 

Slice up the pork meat and put on a plate

 

 

Add the marinade mixture to the meat

 

 

Mix together well

 

 

Make up the sauce mix in a small bowl

 

 

Simply add all the ingredients for the sauce and stir well

 

 

Prepare the spring onions by cutting into lengths

 

 

The hard lower stalks should then be split lengthwise

 

 

Put the green tops and the lower whiter sections into two separate bowls

 

 

Put cooking oil into a fry pan and heat. Then add the garlic and fry until fragrant.

 

 

Add the stock cube and break it up n the pan

 

 

Add the pork

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add sugar and fry for a couple of minutes

 

 

Add the lower sections of the spring onions and fry for about 1 minute

 

 

Add the upper sections of the spring onions and fry for 1 minute

 

 

Add the sauce mixture and stir well

 

 

Add the MSG (optional)

 

 

Serve on rice with your choice of meat dish.
