MUTTON RECIPES

I don't usually cook mutton or lamb dishes so my offering for this style of dish is quite limited.

Mutton is a term used by some people for goat meat but it is a name that really refers to sheep meat. Lamb is usually a sheep less than 1 year old and mutton is usually 3-4 years old. Hogget is another term used for sheep meat and refers to an animal about 2 years old.

The older the sheep, the stronger the taste of the meat will be.

This website contains only a few of my recipes. If you would like the whole collection please purchase my cook book. There are 4 Mutton recipes in the book. The book is available only in PDF format but it can be printed if you want a hard copy.

Don't forget to check out my cooking class videos on my YouTube recipe channel..

Unless otherwise noted, all the recipes here are for 3 servings. Some will require the addition of rice and a vegetable dish to make a complete meal.
