KANG KONG BELACAN

INGREDIENTS
1 bunch Kang Kong 3 tbsp Cooking oil 1 shake Belacan powder 1/2 tsp Sugar 2 pinches MSG (optional) 1/3 cup Water 2 tbsp Dried shrimp 2 cloves Garlic 2 Chillies de-seeded and chopped

METHOD
Pound the chillies, garlic and shrimp to a paste with a mortar and pestle
Put a fry pan on medium heat and add the cooking oil
Add the chilli, garlic, shrimp paste
Add salt
Add sugar
Add kang kong
Rinse any remaining paste with water and add to the fry pan
Add MSG (optional)
Add belacan
Serve on rice with your choice of meat dish
