Hairy Gourd with Fish


 

INGREDIENTS

 

2 Fish fillets (200g) sliced

1/3 large Hariy Gourd (300g) diced

2 Red chillies de-seeded and chopped

1/2 Onion sliced

5 tsp Desiccated coconut

1 tsp Ikan bilis stock powder

1 tsp Fish sauce

1 tsp Sugar

3 tbsp Cooking oil

Salt to taste


 








 

Put the cooking oil in a wok on high heat

 

 

Add the fish and fry until it tightens up

 

 

Add the chillies

 

 

Add the coconut

 

 

Add the ikan bilis stock powder

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add the diced hairy gourd

 

 

Add the onion

 

 

Add fish sauce and stir well

 

 

Add sugar

 

 

Cover, reduce heat to medium and cook for 4-5 minutes

 

 

Serve with rice and your choice of meat dish
