GARLIC SHOOTS WITH PRAWN

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 bunch Garlic shoots

6 Banana prawns peeled and chopped

1/2 tsp Sugar

1/2 Shrimp stock cube

2 cloves Garlic finely chopped

2 tbsp Cooking oil

Salt to taste

 

Sauce mix

1 tsp Corn flour

1 tsp Shao xing wine

1 tsp Soya sauce

1 tsp Oyster sauce

1 tsp Ginger minced

1 cup Water

METHOD

 

 

 

Mix the sauce mix ingredients in a bowl and put aside

 

 

Cut the garlic shoots into small lengths

 

 

Put aside in a small bowl

 

 

Clean and chop the prawns

 

 

Add 1/2 tsp of sugar and mix in to the prawn then put aside

 

 

Put cooking oil into a fry pan and heat on high

 

 

Add the garlic and fry until fragrant

 

 

Add the stock cube and break it up in the pan

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add prawn

 

 

Add garlic shoots and reduce heat to medium

 

 

Add the sauce mix and stir through

 

 

Cover and cook for 5 minutes

 

 

Serve on a bed of boiled rice
