BROCCOLI LEAVES

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 bunch Broccoli leaves

1 small Carrot sliced

1/4 cube Shrimp stock

1 clove Garlic finely chopped

100g Pork sliced

25g Pork fat chopped into small cubes

4 large Prawns cleaned and chopped

2 tbsp Cooking oil

Salt to taste

 

Corn flour mix

1/2 tsp Corn flour

1/2 cup Water

1/2 tsp Shao xing wine

1 tsp Light Soya sauce

1 tsp Oyster sauce

1 tsp Ginger minced

1 tsp Sugar

METHOD

 

 

Mix the ingredients for the corn flour mix and set aside until needed.

 

Clean and chop the broccoli leaves (discard stems)

 

 

Add cooking oil to a fry pan and heat on high

 

 

Add the pork fat and fry until it turns brown

 

Add garlic and the stock cube. Break the stock cube up.

 

 

Add carrot

 

 

Add pork

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add prawn

 

 

Add the broccoli leaves

 

 

Add the corn flour mix and reduce heat to medium high

 

 

Cook until the leaves soften.
