AGAR AGAR

 

INGREDIENTS

 

750 ml Water

250 ml Evaporated milk

1 packet Agar Agar powder (12g)

9 tbsp Sugar

1 cap Almond essence

METHOD

 

 

Heat the water in a saucepan

 

 

Add agar agar powder

 

 

Add sugar, stir in well and allow to dissolve

 

 

Add evaporated milk

 

 

Stir the mixture until you can feel it start to thicken slightly then pour in a cap full of almond essence and stir briefly.

 

 

Pour into a suitable metal container and allow to cool.

 

 

Once the mixture has cooled to room temperature place it in the fridge and allow it to chill.
