Python Pool is located on the old unsealed road from Roebourne to Millstream.
The pool and the scarp just beyond it are possibly equally attractive to the Millstream area. The waterfall is seasonal but there is usually water in the pool
at its base.
If you are heading to Millstream from Roebourne then this is a good spot to stop off and break the journey. (Toilets and BBQs are available here.)
The new sealed road from Karratha bypasses this area, which is a shame because this route is far more scenic.
Other sights of interest along the way are Pyramid Hill and the Chichester Range.
