Green's Island isn't actually an island but it is located in a loop of the Donnelly River that almost cuts the site off.
There is a campsite run by DPaW and unusually for a DPaW site, dogs are allowed here as long as they are on a leash.
Large vehicles may not be able to access the site due to trees close to the access track (see the last part of the video below) but most other vehicles
should make it through without any problem. Our Coaster had plenty of clearance each side.
There are 21 campsites with a few suitable for camper trailers and motorhomes. There is a large cleared grass area that looks like it would be great for tents.
As you are in a forested area, it pays to look up before you setup so that you don't camp directly below overhanging branches. These sometimes have a nasty
tendency to drop off without warning.
Glenoran Pool, Four Acres and One Tree Bridge are nearby attractions.
The campsite is 23 km west of Manjimup via Graphite Rd. and it was originally a farm dating back to 1921.
The Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi trail both pass close to the campsite.
