Freshwater Point is located on Indian Ocean Drive some distance south of Cliff Head.

It has been a popular campsite but it is gradually being washed away by higher and higher tides.

Camping is still permitted at this site but a limit of 72 hours applies.

The only facility is a long drop toilet. Dogs are permitted as long as they are on a leash. The nearest black water dump point is at the oval on Waldeck Street in Dongara.

The site is managed by the Shire of Irwin.
