Contos Campsite
Conto Camp ground is accessible from Caves Road just south of Forest Grove Road.
It is a large campsite with 116 individual bays and caters for tents, caravans and small to medium sized motorhomes.
The camp is about 18 kilometres from Margaret River and can fill up quickly in peak tourist season.
It is run by DPaW (National Parks) so pets are not allowed.
Conto is one of the sites that can now be booked online and this can
make finding a spot during peak tourist periods a lot less stressful.
The camp ground is located close to the coast and Conto Spring is easily accessible.
Many beaches along this coast can be reached by normal 2 wheel drive vehicles.
There is no power in the campsite and water is limited. Toilets are mostly the 'long drop' style and rubbish must be
taken to a large bin near the entry station.
