Auski (Munjina) roadhouse is located on the Great Northern Highway between Port Hedland and Newman and is
1384 kilometres from Perth.
Although all signage has been removed, the roadhouse sits at the junction of the road to Wittenoom (to the west). The road is sealed part
way to the townsite but the final section is unsealed. There are NO facilities available at Wittenoom any more.
The roadhouse is an important refuelling stop and has a caravan facility for those who may want to stop overnight.
As the roadhouse is located on the edge of Karijini National Park, it is a useful place to base yourself when exploring the area.
Alternative campsites can be found in the National Park or there is a good rest area at Albert Tognolini Lookout (formerly Munjina Gorge Lookout) not far
south of the roadhouse.
