The reason we include weeds here is so that people can identify what flowers in the bush really should not be there. Weeds are defined as ANY plant that is growing in a place it does not belong. You will see many garden plants here that for our purposes are defined as weeds because they are growing wild in the bush - where they should not be.

It is believed that more than 10% of all plants now seen in the bush are weeds.

Many of the plants pictured here are common in bush areas and some people may think that they are native species. You may even note that some photos here are of Australian native species, they are just not West Australian and therefore are also classified as weeds.
