LIQUID LUNCH -

The Peron Station shearing shed was located within walking distance to the local pub and it was quite common for the day to start with a full compliment of hard working thirsty shearers.

By morning smoko one or two shearers didn't make it back to work, after lunch one or two more would go missing and by afternoon smoko the shearing shed could remain empty for the rest of the day.
